Suddenly, because so many were participating, our painting event became a campaign. A smile is the easiest kindness to share. We were now a part of a campaign to share smiles with the world one painted rock at a time.

Many of us had found a way to quickly paint 100 rocks. Spray painting the rocks cut down on time as did using paint pens to create the smiley faces.

It is much quicker to add labels and seal rocks in an assembly line fashion spending one evening labeling all 100 of the rocks then spending another evening sealing all 100 of the rocks.

By September 23, 2017, members of Northeast Ohio Rocks! had painted 100 sets of #share100smiles. That is 10,000 smiley face rocks! Northeast Ohio Rocks!
Our spinoff Facebook group, Share 100 Smiles continues to be successful with many groups creating multiple sets of 100 as well.
