Northeast
Ohio Rocks! is the largest rock painting group in the world.
I
estimate our group has painted and hidden 3 million rocks across
Ohio, the United States and around the World.
Our
rocks can be found in all 50 states.
Our rocks can be found in 50+ foreign countries.
Our
group was inspired by Whidbey Island Rocks
Whidbey Island Rocks was inspired by the first community based rocks group, Port Angeles Rocks
Northeast Ohio Rocks! has inspired
about 90 groups who have inspired groups as well.
In June, I created a rock painting event for Northeast Ohio Rocks! and I called it #share100smiles. It was a challenge with the goal being to paint 100 rocks with smiles on them.
Northeast Ohio Rocks! members have painted 100 sets of 100 smile rocks. The event became so amazing a spin off group was created. Now other groups in the United States, Australia and New Zealand are painting smiles too.

have changed people and communities and how we share kindness.
We
aren't your average Facebook group. We work hard to bring you a
negative free, conflict free, advertising free place to come be
inspired and become an inspiration.
I know that I have said this before but the amazement just keeps bringing me back to it.....never in my wildest dreams did I ever think we would grow like this. What I did know was there are still kind people in the world. Society accepts negativity as the norm and that is unacceptable. Northeast Ohio Rocks! has given people a way to share kindness without being rejected and a way to find unexpected kindness that can change a mood and create a chain reaction of happiness. Rock on! Northeast Ohio!! You have changed the world....Keep Rocking!
